Uncertainty Decision

What is uncertainty decision? Perhaps it means a decision under uncertainty. No, I know nothing about those theories. However, according to De Finetti, ““Probability does not exist”, meaning that it is not an objective feature of the world around us, but only a concept that is in our minds, something that we impose on reality around us, trying to make sense of our observations.” Therefore, reality is not how it used to be or exactly what we thought it should be most of the time. Especially when many things have happened and changed overtime. When the clock strikes twelve last midnight, I received an alert from my phone. It was a message to remind myself that I have to make an uncertainty decision, it’s time to face our problems and let bygones be bygones.

Let’s start afresh, again.

Happy New Year.

Hi. My name is Mitch. This is a story I want to tell you. But first, promise me this will be kept just between you and me? I heard that you are really trustworthy and I guess I am left with no one to confess to. Life has been hard ever since I stepped into this working society, school hasn’t been easy either, and to be honest, this seems to be the toughest part of my life thus far. Even so in marvel, that past 3 days have been extraordinary serene. The clear sky, puffy clouds, and calm sea. Everything else doesn’t seem to matter.

Daily Prompt: Plead the Fifth

What question do you hate to be asked? Why?

How are you?

No way.

Not again.

Not this question.

I’m seriously amazed by every human beings who don’t get tired of asking this. Won’t you get sick of it? Ever since I started working at my current workplace, I have wasted a hell lot time dealing with people who asked this question. I can’t stand all the vague conversations I always hear from people, especially those from my workplace. I get that question day in, day out to the extent that I came up with a list of standard reply I should give whenever they asked.

1. I’m fine / good / great / alright / tired

2. Could be better, could be worse

3. Neither dead nor alive

4. Still breathing

Pessimistic? That’s none of your business. There! I said it!

Well, how could it be possible for me not to use this question then? The thing is, I will only ask when I am really concerned about this particular friend. Truthfully and sincerely. I wouldn’t ask if I don’t care. But that’s for me.

So, I was saying, ‘How are you?’

Cross stitch is one of the oldest form of embroidery. In the past, cross-stitch was only use to embellish items such as tablecloths and household linens, to fashion, greeting cards, and fabric decoration on the wall. With the finest texture, and slightest details, you may see how delicate one has to be for an art to be completed.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Reflections

This was taken last May, while I was on my way back from Halong Bay – Hanoi, Vietnam. He was the first person I saw when I got out from the ferry. He sat on the lifebuoy in deep thoughts, looking afar. This was when I point my camera at him and took a shot of him secretly without him knowing. What’s more admirable than a person in deep thought?
